Origin Housing requires a contractor for the supply, installation, commissioning and comprehensive annual maintenance contract for the warden call systems and associated devices comprising door entry with associated access control systems and other Telecare or equivalent devices.
The new systems are required, initially for seven blocks, housing elderly, vulnerable residents based in North West London and the South East Home Counties.

Contract value: Origin Housing has two main areas of properties, North West London and Hertfordshire. A number of the properties house elderly tenants who require warden call systems installed and then maintained under an annual servicing contract. The systems in place need replacing along with the door entry and associated access control systems as well as any related devices.The contract is split into two lots, one company dealing with the London properties and the other company dealing with the Outer London properties. Any company can win both contracts but all applicants must be able to install the system and then provide the servicing and maintenance of the systems for the life of the contract. Origin is looking for a three year contract with the option to extend for a further 1+1 years. The value of the works is split out based upon the number of systems installed and there will be additional systems added every year on a rolling program. The budget is for both lots is between 150k-180k over the five years, but this will increase with the addition of further sites as the contract progresses, subject to satisfactory SLAs and KPIs.Estimated value excluding VAT: Range: between 150 000 and 180 000 GBP
