The contractor will be expected to develop the following specific products by end of March 2013 but this list is open to some negotiation if alternatives can be identified that would be clearly more valuable, building on materials the Contractor can readily adapt for this purpose. â€¢ Some basic guidance based on the different roles that SIN officers can take that highlight particular practical points, skill requirements and linking to other resources that could support these. â€¢ A set of practical models of ways international innovation collaboration can be facilitated, based on different funding streams, including EU-based, roles of industry/academia and forms of relationship. â€¢ A summary of key points from existing literature about key relevant topics to provide background reading and enable SIN officers to better understand the context and thinking of businesses considering international collaboration. â€¢ A directory and guidance on key UK innovation agencies and bodies. â€¢ A directory of leading UK-based academics or industry figures in key sectors or technology areas. â€¢ Based on interviews with SIN officers, a set of case studies of effective practice. â€¢ A set of slides, suitably branded, that can be used/adapted when delivering presentations on the UK innovation landscape and strengths.
