Contract value: The objective of this tender is to obtain a solution for local area tourism monitoring and economic assessment. It is sought that either a bespoke or existing commercial product would be considered if it fulfils the requirement for data capture and reporting. Suitable solutions should consider aspects of data input, integrity and capture requirements, modelling, transparency and accuracy.The outputs from this model / product will inform local authorities, national public bodies and stakeholders on the strategic direction of the visitor economy in Scotland. The overarching aim is to make informed decisions regards the future development of local area tourism strategy, based on robust and accountable data.
