Wolverhampton City Council currently has an existing contract, due to expire 31 July 2022, for the provision of online forms where customer details are entered directly into the Revenues and Benefits Northgate software with a record of the information provided being held in the Enterprise document management system. The purpose of this Preliminary Market Consultation (PMC) is to seek input from potential suppliers within the market, to establish how the Council can build on existing provision to improve customer experience and reduce manual intervention. There is a corporate solution for 'My Account' within Wolverhampton, with Revenues and Benefits due to join the corporate solution during 2022, so that any solution for eservices will need to integrate and incorporate the corporate solution. The PMC will provide an opportunity for Wolverhampton City Council (CWC) to obtain an insight into how potential suppliers might approach the delivery of these services and gain an understanding into the likely level of interest from the market.
