The existing flat roofing system on the Robertshaw Tower Block is failing, the insulation beneath the felt covering is saturated and as a result the top floor flats are suffering from water ingress.The proposal is to replace the existing roof covering and insulation with a new fire-resistant insulation and felt covering to meet or better current Building Regulations.The new roof system detail at the junction of the Plant Room and roof parapet walls and around the feet of the perimeter balustrade is to be Contractor designed.Water damage to internal finishes will be made good.
