The purpose of the project is to provide grey fleet eco driver training that will support Barnsley Council and Doncaster Council to develop and/or implement measures to improve local air quality and road safety. Specifically, the project will contribute to reductions in air pollutant emissions and/or concentrations in areas in current and projected exceedance of the legal limits in the shortest time possible. The project will look to further develop the understanding of the deliverability and value for money opportunities such schemes may provide.
