The Borough Council of Newcastle-under-Lyme are looking to procure the services of a suitably qualified company to undertake bankside improvement works to Madeley Pool which intended to mitigate the issue of erosion to the bankside. Dredging to the lower section is required as a safety measure to reduce the risk of drowning in the event that someone enters into the deeper end of the pool. Works should be carried out competently by skilled operatives with all relevant Health and Safety measures and method statements to be submitted to the contract administrator prior to commencement of works. Contractor to leave the site clean and tidy on completion of the works.
