The Healthy Schools programme started as a national initiative and had a central branding and style guide. Healthy Tots was setup by Leicestershire County Council using the healthy schools framework. When the national programme ended Leicestershire County Council continued to deliver and manage both programmes at a local level. The primary goals of the websites are to provide educational settings (schools and early years settings) and practitioners (teachers, support staff etc) with easy access to: Apply for healthy schools/tots status Access and download templates and best practice case studies to support their application and work in improving the health practice within settings Understand the benefits of healthy schools/tots status View and book places at upcoming training and events sessions Promote the services' campaigns through news and campaign areas
