Food Membership Scheme

The aim of the service is to provide a community-led membership scheme to provide access to low cost, nutritious food The core service delivery requirements of the Service are: - Provision of a community-led model food membership scheme providing access to low cost, nutritious food - Membership scheme that members can opt in and out - Scheme to be accessed and supported through telephone and text - Access to the scheme for a family should be no more than £8.00 per week and no more than £4.00 per week for an individual - Effective policies and procedures should be followed for collection of membership fees - Deliveries should be made 5 times per week with at least one delivery in the Central Hub and one in the South Hub. - Service to operate 52 weeks per year - Food must be stored and delivered safely and securely in accordance with all Food Safety & Hygiene Regulations Further details on the Service Overview and other requirements can be found in the procurement documents which can be accessed in the ProContract tendering portal at Organisations wishing to register an interest and download the procurement documents, should apply via the ProContract e-tendering portal Registration is Free of Charge All completed documentation for the first stage of this tender must be completed and returned via the ProContract e-tendering portal only and by no later than 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, 19th August 2020.
