The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust's Commercial Procurement Service is setting up a multi-supplier framework agreement which will allow NHS authorities and other public bodies to procure tail end management services, including purchasing, supplier management, delivery and reporting with no further competition. This will enable Trusts to act quickly in management of their tail end purchase order spend. The service will provide client authorities with a fully managed service for the purchasing and management of their tail end purchase order spend and will include medical, non-medical and ad hoc supplies and services. The service will provide end to end supply chain management of the authority's tail end spend and will have the potential to deliver savings to client authority's procurement departments.
