Outline planning consent for the development was secured in 2011 and the first phase of enabling highway infrastructure to open up 5 ha of employment land was completed in 2013. Residential development commenced in 2017 and a first phase of 100 homes is nearing completion. Further phases of development will start from late-2020 including a next phase of 307 homes. Proposals for a mixed used village centre of circa 400 homes are under consideration. A summary of the current phasing plan is outlined in Appendix 1 and a comprehensive site wide green infrastructure strategy for the development is included in Appendix 2. The current indicative schedule of proposed green infrastructure within the development is tabled in Appendix 3.
