RHL has aspirations to be the best landlord in the borough and wishes to appoint a managing agent that can help realise this ambition. A more expansive list of company objectives is set out below • to take a transfer of existing residential properties owned and let by the Rushmoor Borough Council; • to develop/acquire property to assemble a residential property portfolio that may contain a range of tenures; • provide quality homes for rent in the private rented market to meet housing need and create a revenue stream providing a return on investment to its shareholder (the Council); • to remain financially viable and commercially sustainable; • to assist the Council in meeting requirements for affordable housing and temporary accommodation where a company is the best means of achieving the required outcomes; • to provide an efficient landlord service including housing management and maintenance; • to maintain its properties to a standard that meets tenant's reasonable expectations; protects shareholder reputation and shareholder investment in the company; and • create saleable, realisable assets should the generation of capital receipts become a priority for its shareholder.
