The General Medical Council (GMC) would like to commission research to baseline the perceptions of three of our key audiences: doctors, patients and the public, and stakeholders/key partners. The research has two purposes: Tracking progress against our Corporate Strategy - to help us measure and, subsequently, track progress over time against a number of strategic measures in the GMC's 2018-20 Corporate Strategy by baselining current perceptions. Stakeholder relations - to help us understand our key partners' perceptions of us and our role, so that we can identify how we can improve those relationships and where we need to focus our efforts in the future.
