Arts Council England is seeking a supplier to undertake research related to its international work. The purpose of the research is two-fold: to understand the impact and effectiveness of Arts Council Awards for International Market Development (IMD) during the 2015-18 period; and to better understand - and measure the value of - the networking and relationship-building phases which are the invariable precursors to market transactions, co-creation deals, co-commissions and so on. Measurements will include financial data and analysis (such as ROI) as well as qualitative elements, in particular, the nature, time-frames and capacity challenges - people and money - of relationship and network-building.
